Week 10 - April
Websites, wireframes, and a little bit of cooking
This week was all about websites—but not the usual kind. I worked on two very different projects: one for a luxury liquor brand, and another for a high-end perfumery.
The liquor brand’s website was in its final stages, so I got to animate and polish it on Figma. With luxury brands, the design language is very different—everything has to feel rich, timeless, and intentional. It’s less about filling the page and more about letting things breathe. That’s something I’m learning as I go: how to strike the balance between simplicity and impact.
The perfume brand, on the other hand, is just getting started. We’re still figuring out the structure, mapping the flow, and wireframing. It’s a more exploratory phase, which is honestly the most fun part for me. You’re throwing ideas around, testing things, and slowly seeing something take shape.
One thing I love about working at Affogato is that no two days look the same. One moment you’re working on websites, the next you're designing merch or planning a spatial layout. That variety keeps things fresh and exciting.
Outside of work, I’ve started cooking a lot more. Still figuring it out, but it’s been oddly calming. Also still keeping up with sports—it’s my way of staying active and keeping my energy up for the week.
